When the "X-files: Resist or Serve" video game was announced by Vivendi Universal and Fox Interactive, it was said that Black Ops Entertainment was developing it for the Sony PlayStation 2 and Microsoft Xbox console systems. After several delays, the game was finally released on March 16th, 2004. However, shortly before the game release, the publisher cancelled the release of the Xbox version and only released the PlayStation 2 version at a lowered price of $29.99.
Many X-files fans (a.ka. X-Philes) are unhappy of the fact that the game was released only on the PlayStation 2. Others who did play the game are wondering that since the game did not get a lot of advertising and was released at that price, if there will be a sequel to the "X-files: Resist or Serve" game.
The signers of this petition are voicing their opinions on having an Xbox version or even a PC version of "X-files: Resist or Serve" to be released as well as having a game sequel made.
