Petition for the Legal Support of the ACLU of Idaho for the Sandpoint Hermanos MC sign now

We are petitioning on behalf of the Sandpoint chapter of the Hermanos MC, and the unlawful persecution of their constitutionally protected group. The Hermanos are charged with Felony Recruitment of Criminal Gang Members, compliant with the Idaho State Law 18-8504.

The Sandpoint Hermanos MC are NOT an outlaw or 1\% club. It is outlined that in being part of this club, God, family, and jobs take first priority before anything and everything else. Men make the choice to be part of a support club to enjoy the benefits of our family atmosphere and a share a common interest in motorcycles.

18-8504 has been in appeals as long as it has existed, because it directly violates our constitutional rights to freedom of speech, expression, and assembly. The wording of the law can be used to prosecute anybody or any group, from Church groups, to the March of Dimes, to the Police themselves.

The law states that All persons concerned in the commission of a crime, whether it be felony or misdemeanor, and whether they directly commit the act constituting the offense, or aid and abet its commission, or, not being present, have advised and encouraged its commission, or not being present, or who by fraud, contrivance, or force, occasion the intoxication of another for the purpose of causing him to commit a crime, or who by threats menaces, command, or coercion, compel another to commit another crime, are principals in any crime committed.

If the Sandpoint Police Department can use this law to prosecute an entire group of people for an individuals crimes, then:

The Catholic Church is responsible for the pedophile priests who molest children, and we demand the Catholic Church arrested.
The Idaho State Troopers should all be arrested, because the troopers responsible for the poaching of a moose out of season.
The Entire Bonner County Sherriffs Department needs to be incarcerated for taking sexual advantage of informants.
The Task Force responsible for the raids needs to be held accountable for the desecration of a childs remains, during a raid where nothing illegal was found. These are atrocities that should be prosecuted.
Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous are criminal organizations. They should be under surveillance and/or investigation for drug crimes committed by individuals, and tried as whole organization.
All of the fat, ugly, unloved and unwanted of people who are abrasive and offensive to the public eye should be arrested. If our matching vests are offensive enough to warrant bogus charges and completely unnecessary police force, then why isnt being grossly unattractive?


These allegations have cost our families:
Loss of jobs
Loss of Medical Benefits
Possible loss of 20 year military retirement
Children are forced to change schools, homes, and worry about the safety of their living environments.
Evictions due to inaccurate reporting by local media sources
Public Humiliation
$700,000 in bonds, and another $70,000 is needed for bail.
Our homes have been destroyed by the grenades they used on sleeping households. Windows are shot out, there are burn marks on our carpets, our animals are traumatized, and many victims are shell-shocked from the unnecessary force used to enter our homes. Why didnt they knock and present a warrant?

Furthermore, the Police Department found no evidence of stolen property, drug distribution, or manufacturing operations during the raids.


We are petitioning for the legal support of the Idaho branch of the ACLU, an organization dedicated to protecting the Civil Rights of American citizens. In signing this petition, you are merely agreeing that the Sandpoint Chapter Hermanos Motorcycle Clubs Civil Rights deserve the protection of the ACLU.
