This petition is to make the Lutari, on Neopets, available to everybody.

"Similarly, Neopets.com is considered one of the "stickiest" Web sites on the Internet, with hundreds of thousands of caretakers who visit every day (sometimes for several hours at a time) to look after a virtual pet. Mobile publisher In-Fusio wants fans to access their obsessions from anywhere. Their upcoming wireless-to-Web app links to the Web site where players can look after their pet, as well as access exclusive content that will be available only to cell phone subscribers.

Cell phone subscribers immediately will be able to choose a wireless-only pet named Lutari, as well as a special island not open to conventional Internet users. However, the online currency you earn on your handset (which is used to purchase items and whatnot) is the same on either platform, and is easily interchangeable.

"Neopets" is very much about collecting items, so In-Fusio's portal should prove popular, especially because PC-only pet-sitters can see the new gear on a cell phone owner's virtual companion. But the mobile app offers more than a window into the Neopets ecosystem and economy; In-Fusio is juicing it with a few cute mini-games."
