Inadequate Fully Fenced Playgrounds for Brisbane (Jamboree Ward) sign now
This petition is to make Brisbane City Council aware of the need for families of the Jamboree Ward to have access to fully fenced playgrounds.
The Jamboree Ward includes the suburbs of
Jamboree
Jamboree Heights
Jindalee
Middle Park
Mt Ommaney
Riverhills
Sinnamon Park
Seventeen Mile Rocks
West Lake
Parts of Corinda, Darra and Oxley
Currently there are NO fenced playgrounds for families to take their children in this area.
Fenced playgrounds are a necessity for families so that both parents and children can play in a safe environment without the threat of roads, water hazards etc
All over Brisbane there are great examples of these play areas but we need to have one in the Jamboree Ward.
Families who would use this playground would be:
*Families of Multiples
* Parents of children with special needs
