Help Build a better skateboard park for the people of Malvern East, Victoria sign now
I have started this petition due to the fact that there are many skateboarders living in the area of East Malvern without anywhere to skateboard.
The problem is the only skateparks are 20-40 minutes away.
The one closest skate park is not very well built and is extremely small for the amount of skateboarders, scooters and bikers that go there. A lot of the time you simply just cannot skateboard there.
We are all sick of getting in trouble for skateboarding in street areas that we are not aloud to skateboard in. I am sure all the shop owners, security guards etc are sick of it too!
There are many places they could build a skatepark in the area of Malvern East and i strongly think that the Stonnington council should take the time and money to build a skate park in the area of Malvern it would be greatly appreciated by many!
